hey, I’m maimoona (mei)

I'm a lawyer turned serial entrepreneur and venture scout.

I built and scaled two venture-backed fintechs as well as a bootstrapped e-commerce storefront. I used to family offices, port operators and ship brokers on buying and selling assets in the marine industry –– yachts, vessels and oil tankers amongst others.

I am working on my own projects and my thoughts on my personal Substack. I write a weekly newsletter about lessons from failure for founders, anti-success stories and mental models to overcome setbacks.

I document my whole journey of building and writing in public on Twitter.
